La AFA prohíbe pararse sobre la pelota y aplica amarilla

La Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA) prohibió este miércoles que los jugadores del torneo local se paren sobre la pelota, con sanción de tarjeta amarilla y tiro libre indirecto para el rival. La medida surgió tras una jugada de Julián Palacios en el partido del sábado entre Unión y Estudiantes. La AFA la considera una conducta antideportiva que genera conflictos y riesgos.

La Gerencia Técnica de la AFA comunicó la nueva regla tras la derrota de Unión 2-1 ante Estudiantes, donde Palacios se paró sobre el esférico.

"Se debe a una conducta específica que ha provocado disrupciones en el entorno de juego. Esta práctica, que genera confrontaciones generalizadas, daña significativamente la imagen de un deporte con amplio alcance nacional e internacional", explicó la AFA en su comunicado.

La entidad también destacó el riesgo de lesión para el jugador y los trastornos en los partidos. "Existen diferentes circunstancias en las que un jugador debe ser amonestado con tarjeta amarilla por conducta antideportiva, entre ellas: mostrar falta de respeto al espíritu del fútbol", justificaron.

La medida sigue un antecedente brasileño del 5 de abril, cuando la Confederación Brasileña de Fútbol impuso la misma sanción por "falta de respeto por el fútbol", aplicada en el Sudamericano Sub 17 entre Brasil y Bolivia.
