O Banco da Inglaterra lançou uma consulta em 18 de maio para estender o horário de liquidação de seus sistemas RTGS e CHAPS em direção a uma operação quase contínua. Os planos preveem um dia adicional de liquidação nos fins de semana e em certos feriados bancários, além de janelas mais longas nos dias atuais. Nenhuma mudança ocorreria antes de 2029, com horários mais amplos sendo implementados não antes de 2031.
