CNE credencia mais de 25 mil atores para as eleições presidenciais de 31 de maio

O Conselho Nacional Eleitoral credenciou 25.062 pessoas para monitorar as eleições presidenciais de 31 de maio. O número inclui testemunhas, auditores e observadores no exterior e no país.

O diretor de Vigilância e Inspeção Eleitoral, José Antonio Parra Fandiño, destacou que este é um número recorde. “Temos um número recorde. Foram nomeadas e credenciadas 9.624 testemunhas eleitorais que exercerão o controle nas mesas de votação fora do território colombiano”, observou.

Dos credenciados, 9.624 são testemunhas eleitorais no exterior, 1.167 auditores de sistemas e 14.271 observadores eleitorais, dos quais 13.740 são nacionais e 531 internacionais. O CNE indicou que o número de observadores internacionais pode chegar a quase mil.

O prazo para nomear testemunhas eleitorais na Colômbia expira em 24 de maio às 23h59. O CNE convocou as 12 organizações políticas a continuar com as nomeações para atingir a meta de 1,7 milhão de testemunhas em mais de 120 mil mesas de votação.
