CNE acredita más de 25 mil actores para elecciones presidenciales del 31 de mayo

El Consejo Nacional Electoral acreditó a 25.062 personas para vigilar las elecciones presidenciales del 31 de mayo. La cifra incluye testigos, auditores y observadores en el exterior y el país.

El director de Vigilancia e Inspección Electoral, José Antonio Parra Fandiño, destacó que se trata de una cifra récord. “Tenemos una cifra récord. Se han postulado y acreditado 9.624 testigos electorales que van a ejercer control en las mesas de votación fuera del territorio colombiano”, señaló.

De los acreditados, 9.624 son testigos electorales en el exterior, 1.167 auditores de sistemas y 14.271 observadores electorales, de los cuales 13.740 son nacionales y 531 internacionales. El CNE indicó que la cifra de observadores internacionales podría subir casi a mil.

El plazo para postular testigos electorales en Colombia vence el 24 de mayo a las 11:59 de la noche. El CNE llamó a las 12 organizaciones políticas a continuar con las postulaciones para alcanzar la meta de 1,7 millones de testigos en más de 120.000 mesas de votación.
