Double Fine workers vote to unionize with CWA

Employees at Double Fine Productions have voted to form a union with the Communications Workers of America. The 42 full- and part-time workers follow similar unionization efforts at other Microsoft studios.

Double Fine, the studio behind the Psychonauts series, petitioned to unionize at the end of last week. On 7 May the workers announced their decision to join the CWA to preserve commitments to creative excellence, diversity and inclusion, and worker quality of life, the union told Aftermath. This follows the studio's petition to the National Labor Relations Board seeking an election and voluntary recognition.
