A inflação de fevereiro atingiu mais as famílias de baixa renda

A empresa de consultoria Empiria informou que, em fevereiro de 2026, os 10% das famílias mais pobres enfrentaram uma inflação de 3,3%, em comparação com 2,9% para os 10% mais ricos. A diferença decorre do maior peso dos alimentos e da moradia nas cestas de baixa renda. O INDEC confirmou uma taxa de inflação mensal geral de 2,9%.

O relatório da Empiria Consultores, liderado por Hernán Lacunza, observa que a inflação de fevereiro de 2026 foi regressiva. "Em fevereiro, os 10% mais pobres das famílias tiveram uma inflação de 3,3%, enquanto os 10% mais ricos tiveram 2,9%", afirma o documento. A disparidade decorre da composição da cesta: alimentos e bebidas respondem por 32% dos gastos no decil mais pobre (contra 16% no mais rico), e habitação com tarifas de eletricidade 18% contra 12% nos lares mais ricos, com base na Pesquisa Nacional de Despesas Domiciliares 2017/2018 (ENGHo). Os principais aumentos foram em habitação e eletricidade (6,6%) e alimentos (3,3%), enquanto as bebidas alcoólicas aumentaram 0,6% e as roupas permaneceram estáveis. O núcleo da inflação atingiu 3,1%, acima dos 2,6% de janeiro, com os preços regulados em 4,3%. O total bimestral atingiu 5,9%, 1,2 ponto acima de 2025, e 33,1% na comparação anual. Historicamente, a diferença entre ricos e pobres permaneceu abaixo de 1% desde 2018, mas desde novembro de 2023 foi ligeiramente maior para os ricos. A Empiria prevê uma inflação anual em torno de 30% para 2026, semelhante à de 2025.
