Jordi Martí Galbís vence as primárias do Junts em Barcelona

Jordi Martí Galbís venceu as primárias do Junts para a candidatura à prefeitura de Barcelona com 40,3% dos votos. Os membros do partido escolheram o advogado e atual vereador à frente de Pilar Calvo, que contava com o apoio de Carles Puigdemont.

Martí Galbís, advogado de 65 anos e vereador há 16, está ligado politicamente a Xavier Trias há décadas. Trias apoiou abertamente sua candidatura após rejeitar outros nomes propostos por Puigdemont.

O resultado marca um distanciamento da influência de Puigdemont na capital catalã. Martí Galbís defenderá a soberania do grupo municipal para elaborar listas e pactos, em contraste com posições que dão mais peso ao líder do partido.
