Leticia Ramírez assume a Secretaria de Bem-Estar após renúncia de Ariadna Montiel

A presidente Claudia Sheinbaum anunciou a saída de Ariadna Montiel da Secretaria de Bem-Estar para buscar a liderança do Morena, nomeando Leticia Ramírez Amaya como substituta. Ramírez, ex-secretária de Educação, expressou gratidão pela confiança. O órgão administrará um orçamento de um trilhão de pesos em 2026.

A presidente Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo anunciou que Ariadna Montiel, chefe da Secretaria de Bem-Estar desde 2022, renunciou para concorrer à presidência nacional do Morena.

"Hoje a Ariadna me disse que está deixando a Secretaria de Bem-Estar para avançar em outras tarefas do movimento ao qual todas nós pertencemos", escreveu Sheinbaum nas redes sociais. Montiel confirmou: "Compartilho que hoje apresentei minha renúncia à presidente Claudia Sheinbaum para participar da eleição para a Presidência Nacional do Morena."

Leticia Ramírez Amaya, anteriormente coordenadora geral de Assuntos Intergovernamentais e Participação Social na Presidência, assumirá o cargo. "Presidente Claudia Sheinbaum, sinto-me profundamente honrada e grata pela confiança que a senhora me depositou", postou Ramírez no X. Ela acrescentou: "Trabalharemos com amor e convicção para que o bem-estar e a justiça social continuem chegando a todas as famílias mexicanas."

Ramírez é professora normalista formada pela Escola Nacional de Professores, com estudos em Antropologia Social. Ela atuou como secretária de Educação de 2022 a 2024, lançando a Nova Escola Mexicana, e trabalhou anteriormente com atendimento ao cidadão sob a gestão de Andrés Manuel López Obrador e Marcelo Ebrard. A Secretaria de Bem-Estar distribuirá programas sociais com um orçamento de um trilhão de pesos este ano.
