Ruas de Nairóbi enfrentarão interrupções no trânsito para a cúpula Africa Forward

O governo queniano alertou os motoristas sobre grandes interrupções no trânsito esperadas para começar na próxima semana, quando Nairóbi sediará a cúpula Africa Forward 2026.

O porta-voz do governo, Isaac Mwaura, anunciou na sexta-feira que o intenso deslocamento de pessoas muito importantes afetará várias vias principais de 10 a 12 de maio. As estradas onde são esperadas interrupções incluem Mombasa Road, Lang’ata Road, Thika Road, Limuru Road e Kiambu Road.

Partes do distrito comercial central serão fechadas a partir da meia-noite de 11 de maio. Vias como City Hall Way, Parliament Road, Harambee Avenue e Taifa Road terão o acesso restrito a veículos da conferência que se dirigem ao Kenyatta International Convention Centre.

A cúpula, organizada em conjunto pelo presidente William Ruto e pelo presidente francês Emmanuel Macron, ocorre de 11 a 12 de maio. O evento atrairá mais de 30 chefes de Estado de toda a África.
