O presidente de Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, pediu hoje respeito às instituições durante o evento do Dia regional realizado em Cuenca. Ele ofereceu apoio total ao poder judiciário, à Fiscalía, à Guardia Civil e à Policía Nacional, incluindo as unidades UCO e UDEF que enfrentam ataques por cumprirem seus deveres.

Page rejeitou teorias de um golpe judicial contra o Governo. Ele observou que os problemas que afetam alguns não tornam a Espanha um estado falido e que a tensão atual está muito distante do espírito da Transição.

O líder socialista pediu aos cidadãos que não levem a tensão política para casa e apelou ao consenso entre os partidos. Ele lembrou que as regras que regem essas instituições foram concebidas pelo PP e pelo PSOE sob a democracia.
