PSOE apoia reforma das regras do Congresso para facilitar a formação de grupos parlamentares

O PSOE e seus aliados parlamentares deram o primeiro passo para reduzir os requisitos para a formação de grupos no Congresso, com o apoio de ERC, Junts e outros partidos minoritários.

Na terça-feira, a maioria do Congresso aprovou a consideração de uma reforma das regras promovida por ERC, Junts, Podemos, BNG e Compromís. A proposta reduz os limites atuais: de cinco deputados mais 5% nacionalmente ou 15% por circunscrição, para cinco deputados mais 3% nacionalmente ou 10% nos territórios onde concorrem.

O PP e o Vox rejeitaram a iniciativa e alertaram que, se controlarem a Mesa na próxima legislatura, aplicarão as regras rigorosamente. O deputado do Vox, Ignacio Gil Lázaro, prometeu acabar com “todos os truques” que beneficiam as minorias.

O PSOE defendeu a medida como uma adaptação à “realidade política territorial da Espanha do século XXI”. O deputado Joaquín Martínez afirmou que “a fragmentação política não é causada pelas regras, mas decidida pelos cidadãos quando votam livremente”.
