Reyes Maroto vence primárias do PSOE e será novamente candidata à prefeitura de Madri

Reyes Maroto derrotou Enma López nas primárias do PSOE realizadas no domingo para selecionar a candidata à prefeitura de Madri. A ex-ministra da Indústria e atual porta-voz socialista enfrentará José Luis Martínez-Almeida nas eleições municipais de 2027.

Maroto garantiu 55,4% dos votos contra 44,59% de López, segundo os resultados provisórios. López reconheceu a derrota pelo Twitter e desejou sucesso à sua rival para as eleições de 2027.

A vitória de Maroto confirma o plano original do partido, associando sua candidatura à de Óscar López para a presidência regional de Madri. Ambos os candidatos concordaram em prioridades como habitação, limpeza e mobilidade, mas Maroto defendeu a continuidade, enquanto López buscou a renovação.

Maroto reuniu 1.376 apoios, em comparação com 1.028 de López. Na votação presencial de domingo, ela recebeu 1.045 votos contra 841. A ex-ministra contou com o apoio da maioria dos vereadores socialistas e da estrutura do partido na capital.
