A Windscribe, uma provedora de VPN, anunciou a integração nativa com o OpenClaw, uma plataforma de IA agêntica que é executada em hardware local. Esse recurso permite que agentes de IA, referidos pela empresa como 'lagostas' (lobsters), modifiquem as configurações da VPN de forma autônoma. O objetivo é isolar o tráfego da IA do tráfego do próprio usuário, prevenindo cenários em que agentes excessivamente zelosos acionem desafios de segurança ou listas de bloqueio que poderiam afetar redes domésticas inteiras.
