Bundesrat röstar nej till plan om lättnadspremie

Bundesrat vägrade idag att godkänna den skattefria lättnadspremien på upp till 1 000 euro. Detta blockerar en central del av det energistödpaket som förhandlats fram av CDU/CSU och SPD.

Delstater ledda av unionspartierna röstade mot paketet. Även Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, styrt av SPD, undanhöll sitt godkännande. Delstaterna kritiserade åtgärden för att vara ineffektiv och bristfälligt utformad.

Winfried Kretschmann, avgående ministerpresident i Baden-Württemberg, sade: ”Kostnaderna kommer i slutändan att landa på delstaterna och kommunerna.” Premien, genom vilken anställda skulle ha kunnat få 1 000 euro skattefritt från sina arbetsgivare, blir därmed inte av.

Dessutom har sänkningen av bränsleskatten hittills inte fullt ut skickats vidare till konsumenterna av oljebolagen. Det energistödpaket som förhandlades fram i april riskerar därmed att rinna ut i sanden.
