Det senaste tillskottet i den långlivade Gundam-serien debuterade med 810 000 dollar på 894 biografer i Nordamerika under helgen. Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery Of Nymph Circle är den första filmen i serien som distribueras direkt av Bandai Namco Filmworks i regionen.

Premiärresultatet ligger nära den tidigare Gundam-filmen från februari 2025, som spelade in 882 000 dollar på 784 biografer och landade på totalt 1,2 miljoner dollar inhemskt. I Japan har den nya filmen redan spelat in 14,7 miljoner dollar sedan premiären i januari.
