Xbox medger att planerna på exklusivitet kan förvirra spelare och bekräftar fler exklusiva titlar framöver

Xbox Chief Strategy Officer Matthew Ball uppgav att företaget planerar ytterligare exklusiva spel och tjänster utöver de två utannonserade titlarna. "För att växa en plattform som vår måste man ha exklusiva spel och tjänster. Det här kommer inte att vara de enda två titlarna", sa Ball. Chief Content Officer Matt Booty tillade att beslut om exklusivitet "inte är något som är skrivet i sten" och att de inte enbart kommer att fokusera på spel för en spelare.

Ball noterade att tillvägagångssättet kanske inte är "uppenbart för alla våra spelare" och sa att företaget siktar på att förbättra kommunikationen. Kommentarerna följer på förra månadens Xbox-showcase och kommer mitt under pågående personalneddragningar, inklusive 3 200 nyligen genomförda uppsägningar och ytterligare 1 600 planerade. Detta bygger vidare på Xbox nyliga kursändring från att släppa utvalda förstapartstitlar på flera plattformar.
