Forza Horizon 6 players advised to apply patch to avoid save loss

Playground Games is investigating an issue in Forza Horizon 6 where game save progress may be lost or reset.

Xbox has deployed a patch on PC and Steam. Players are advised to install version 37.114.10001.0 or higher before playing.

The support team recommends that affected players immediately open a ticket on the website. This step allows the team to attempt recovery by reverting progress to an earlier save.

Additional advice includes disabling Quick Resume, staying online when quitting, and allowing saves to sync fully before turning off devices. Xbox players also received a system update over the weekend.

Some players continue to report data loss even after applying the patch. One player noted the issue occurred after 220 hours of play and said they had been waiting days for support response.
