Heavy rains likely in Zambales, Bataan due to habagat

Heavy rains are expected over Zambales and Bataan in the next few hours due to the enhanced southwest monsoon, or habagat. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration issued a yellow rainfall alert at 8 a.m. on Sunday. Noul was estimated at 745 kilometers west-northwest of Itbayat, Batanes, with maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 195 kilometers per hour as it moved northwestward at 20 kilometers per hour.
