Mahakama Kuu imeamuru Rais William Ruto kuunda upya baraza lake la mawaziri ndani ya siku 120 ili kutimiza sheria ya uwakilishi wa theluthi mbili ya kijinsia.

Uamuzi huo ulitolewa baada ya mahakama kugundua kuwa baraza la sasa la mawaziri lina wanaume 16 na wanawake sita pekee. Rais atalazimika kuwaondoa mawaziri wawili wa kiume na kuwabadilisha na wanawake ili kufikia kiwango kinachohitajika.

Baraza la Mawaziri lina jumla ya wajumbe 22. Wanawake sita walioorodheshwa ni Beatrice Askul Moe, Hanna Wendot Cheptumo, Deborah Mulongo Barasa, Alice Wahome, Rebecca Miano na Roselinda Soipan Tuya.
