LSK yashutumu kauli za Rais Samia kuhusu kukandamiza wanaharakati

Rais wa Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan alipendekeza ushirikiano na Rais William Ruto kukabiliana na maandamano ya vijana. Law Society of Kenya imelaani kauli hizo kama tishio kwa haki za kikatiba.

Rais Samia Suluhu alitoa kauli hizo Jumatano wakati wa ziara ya Rais Ruto nchini Tanzania. Alieleza vijana kama watovu wa adabu wanaohitaji adhabu kali badala ya kuwapamperia.

“Wakija kwangu nachapa mikwaju, wakija kwako wachape mikwaju ili wakae sawa,” alisema Rais Samia kulingana na ripoti.

Charles Kanjama, Rais wa LSK, alisema kauli hizo zinakiuka kifungu cha 33, 36 na 37 cha Katiba ya Kenya kinachohakikisha uhuru wa kujieleza, kujumuika na kukusanyika. LSK ilionya kuwa juhudi zozote za kukandamiza haki hizo zitakabiliwa na upinzani wa kisheria na kiraia.

Maoni hayo yalifanyika wakati wa mkutano wa pamoja baada ya Ruto kuhutubia bunge la Tanzania.
