In the past year the force logged 49,896 flying hours for defense, training and disaster response missions. PAF commanding general Lt. Gen. Arthur Cordura noted upcoming deliveries of helicopters and radar systems along with plans for long-range patrol aircraft and flight simulators.

Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro Jr., National Security Adviser Eduardo Oban Jr. and other officials attended the event held on July 1.
