Wizara ya elimu inashirikiana na kaunti ya Mombasa kuhusu bursaries na ufadhili

Wizara ya Elimu na Serikali ya Kaunti ya Mombasa wameingia katika ushirikiano wa kutoa bursaries na ufadhili wa elimu katika kaunti hiyo. Makubaliano haya yalitia saini tarehe 15 Januari na kutangazwa katika gazeti la serikali tarehe 6 Februari. Lengo ni kukuza ushirikiano na uwazi katika huduma za elimu.

Serikali ya Kaunti ya Mombasa, chini ya Gavana Abdulswamad Sheriff, imefikia makubaliano na Wizara ya Elimu ya kitaifa ili kuweka mfumo wa kutoa bursaries na ufadhili kwa wanafunzi wa shule za msingi, sekondari, elimu maalum, vyuo vikuu na taasisi za juu. Gavana alisema katika tangazo la gazeti kuwa makubaliano haya yatatoa mwongozo wa uhamisho wa majukumu ya elimu kutoka serikali kuu hadi kaunti, na kutoa matumaini ya uwazi na uwajibikaji katika usimamizi wa elimu ya kaunti.

"Lengo la makubaliano haya ni: kukuza kushiriki rasilimali katika utoaji huduma za elimu; na Kuimarisha na kukuza upatikanaji sawa wa elimu bora na pamoja," alisema Abdullswamad.

Bursaries ni tuzo za kifedha kwa wanafunzi kutoka taasisi na serikali ambazo hazihitaji kurudishwa, na kusaidia gharama kama ada na matumizi ya kila siku. Makubaliano yanaweza kubadilishwa kwa idhini ya pande zote mbili na kuwa ya maandishi.
