PS Mang’eni aeleza sababu ya kuchelewa kwa vibali vya leseni kwa wanufaika wa Nyota Fund

Katibu Mkuu wa MSMEs Susan Mang’eni ameeleza kuchelewa kwa utekelezaji wa vibali vya leseni za biashara kwa wanufaika wa Nyota Fund, miezi miwili baada ya kaunti kutangaza hivyo. Alisema kuwa mkazo ni ukosefu wa mfumo wa utekelezaji na data ya wanufaika kwa kaunti. Wizara na kaunti 47 zinaanza hatua za utekelezaji.

Katibu Mkuu Susan Mang’eni alizungumza hii Wakati wa ziara yake katika Kaunti ya Kirinyaga siku ya Jumatano, Aprili 8. Alisema kuwa kaunti zote zimeahidi kutoa vibali hivyo kwa vijana katika maeneo yao. “Zote nchini, kaunti zimeahidi kuwapa vijana hawa vibali katika maeneo yao. Sio kwamba hazijatekeleza. Tunafanya mfumo wa kufikia hilo,” Mang’eni alisema.

Kuanzia Alhamisi, timu kutoka Nairobi itashiriki data ya wanufaika, hasa wale waliotenda programu ya ushauri, ili kuonyesha wameanza biashara zao. Aongeza kuwa aina ya leseni inategemea aina ya biashara, na hivyo inachangia kuchelewa. Wizara inafanya kazi kwenye mfumo wa kisheria ili msaada uendelee zaidi ya utawala wa sasa.

Nyota Fund iliwapa vijana zaidi ya 101,000 KSh 25,000 kila mmoja katika awamu ya kwanza, gharama ya zaidi ya KSh 2.5 bilioni. Kaunti nyingi, ikiwa ni pamoja na Nairobi, zilitangaza vibali vya miaka miwili. Gavana Johnson Sakaja alisema hatua hiyo inalenga kushawishi ujasiriamali, kuunda ajira na kukuza uchumi.

Sasa serikali inapanga awamu ya pili, kutoa KSh 25,000 zaidi kwa kila mwanufaika kuanzia Mei baada ya programu ya ushauri.
