Serikali ya Marekani imempiga marufuku Kamishna Msaidizi wa Polisi wa Tanzania Faustine Jackson Mafwele kuingia nchini kutokana na madai ya kuhusika katika kuteswa kwa wanaharakati.

Waziri wa Mambo ya Nje wa Marekani Marco Rubio alitangaza hatua hiyo Mei 21, 2026, chini ya kifungu cha 7031(c). Taarifa hizo zilimhusisha afisa huyo na kuwazuilia, kuwatesa na kuwafanyia unyanyasaji wa kingono wanaharakati Boniface Mwangi na Agather Atuhaire walipokuwa Tanzania mnamo Mei 2025.
