菲律宾司法部一位官员表示,根据菲律宾法律,即便菲律宾人在国外获得离婚判决,其婚姻关系依然有效。

达托强调,在监护权案件中,儿童的福祉至关重要。母亲可自动获得七岁以下儿童的监护权,但若母亲被认定不适合,监护权可判给父亲。

他补充说,司法部已增加公共律师办公室的律师人数,以协助那些无力支付法律服务费用的民众。
