Paralives devs pledge no paid dlc after 250k sales

The small team behind life simulator Paralives has announced it will never release paid DLC for the game. Strong early sales have given the studio confidence in its free-update model.

Paralives sold more than 250,000 copies in less than eight hours after launching in early access on Steam this week. Lead developer Alex Massé stated during a Reddit AMA that the studio plans only free updates going forward, even after early access ends. Massé said the decision stems from a desire to avoid forcing players to buy extra content.
