Vehicle registration data for Spain in 2025, released on January 2, 2026 by Anfac, Faconauto, and Ganvam, show an expanding market. The Dacia Sandero, Romanian-origin and part of the Renault group, led for the third straight year with 38,548 units sold, up 17% from 2024. Its closest rival, the Renault Clio, recorded 27,104 units for the year, though the new Clio topped December 2025 sales as the best-selling passenger car with 3,857 registrations, ahead of the Hyundai Tucson (3,133) and Sandero (2,724).
