شددت وزارة الداخلية الاتحادية قواعد قانون تنظيم المساهمات الأجنبية (FCRA) للمنظمات غير الحكومية من خلال إشعار رسمي صدر في 22 يونيو 2026. يتعين على المنظمات الآن اختيار أغراض ومناطق تشغيلية من جدول محدد مسبقاً مع استبعاد التبشير من الفئات الدينية. وبشكل عام، لن تكون الجمعيات التي لديها مسؤولون رئيسيون من غير الهنود مؤهلة للتسجيل.

تتطلب التعديلات من المنظمات غير الحكومية تحديد الأغراض الدقيقة والولايات أو الأقاليم الاتحادية لأنشطتها من جدول يغطي الفئات الدينية والثقافية والاقتصادية والتعليمية والاجتماعية. يجب أن يستبعد التعليم الديني والأنشطة ذات الصلة أي عمليات تبشير. يتعين على الجمعيات المسجلة قبل عام 2026 الكشف عن الأغراض والمناطق التي اختارتها خلال عام واحد. ويُطبق رسم إضافي قدره 300 روبية لكل غرض أو ولاية إضافية. يجب على المنظمات غير الحكومية إنفاق ما لا يقل عن 10 لاك روبية من المساهمات الأجنبية خلال السنتين الماليتين الماضيتين لتجديد التسجيل. وتتطلب أقساط الإذن المسبق استخدام 75 في المائة من المبلغ السابق، وهو ما يتم التحقق منه من خلال تحقيق ميداني. تتطلب الطلبات الآن تفاصيل حسابات التواصل الاجتماعي والكشف عن المانحين النهائيين للتحويلات المالية الوسيطة. يجب أن تتضمن الإقرارات السنوية تقريراً مفصلاً عن الأنشطة.
