موركومين يمدد الموعد النهائي لتحول المنظمات غير الحكومية لمدة عام وسط ارتباك بشأن إعادة التسجيل

حصلت المنظمات غير الحكومية في كينيا على تمديد لمدة عام واحد للانتقال إلى إطار عمل منظمات المنفعة العامة الجديد بعد أن أثار توجيه سابق يتطلب إعادة التسجيل بحلول 13 مايو ارتباكاً واسع النطاق. وأصدر وزير الداخلية كيبتشومبا موركومين التمديد عبر إشعار في الجريدة الرسمية بتاريخ 12 مايو 2026.

يمنح هذا التمديد المنظمات غير الحكومية مهلة حتى مايو 2027 للامتثال لقانون منظمات المنفعة العامة لعام 2013. وأوضح موركومين أن منظمات المنفعة العامة تكمل أولويات التنمية في البلاد، وخاصة أجندة التحول الاقتصادي من القاعدة إلى القمة.

وكانت التوجيهات السابقة التي تطالب بتسجيل جديد قد أثارت مخاوف بشأن احتمال إلغاء التسجيل وتعطيل التمويل. وقد أوضحت هيئة تنظيم منظمات المنفعة العامة لاحقاً أن التحول للمجموعات المسجلة بموجب قانون تنسيق المنظمات غير الحكومية لعام 1990 هو تحول تلقائي.

لا يزال يتعين على المنظمات تحديث سجلاتها على منصة eCitizen مع تقديم دساتير محدثة، وتفاصيل الحوكمة، والحسابات المدققة، وقرارات مجلس الإدارة. ستحصل الجهات المنفذة المباشرة على شهادات منظمات منفعة عامة جديدة مع الحفاظ على استمرارية السجلات السابقة.
