ستقوم الحكومة الإندونيسية بنشر 780 فرداً من القوات المسلحة الإندونيسية (TNI) في لبنان في 22 مايو 2026، كجزء من قوة الأمم المتحدة المؤقتة في لبنان (اليونيفيل). وقد أعرب نائب رئيس اللجنة الأولى في مجلس النواب ديف لاكسونو عن دعمه الكامل، مؤكداً في الوقت ذاته على أن سلامة القوات يجب أن تظل الأولوية القصوى.

أعلن وزير الخارجية سوجيونو عن الخطة في 12 مايو 2026 في جاكرتا، حيث يعكس هذا الانتشار التزام إندونيسيا بالسلام العالمي والاستقرار الإقليمي.

وجه ديف لاكسونو تحية تقدير لجميع القوات المغادرة، وشدد على ضرورة أن تضمن وزارة الدفاع والقوات المسلحة الإندونيسية توفير الدعم اللوجستي الأمثل والتنسيق مع الشركاء الدوليين.

كما دعت اللجنة الأولى إلى إجراء تقييمات ميدانية مستمرة، ومن المتوقع أن يحافظ جميع الأفراد على الانضباط والاحترافية والروح القتالية أثناء أداء مهامهم.
