الحكم بسجن مشارك في أحداث 6 يناير لاقتحامه منزلاً في فيرجينيا

صدر حكم بالسجن لمدة سبع سنوات بحق رجل سبق إدانته بسبب أفعاله خلال أحداث الشغب في مبنى الكابيتول في 6 يناير 2021، وذلك لاقتحامه منزلاً في مقاطعة هنريكو. وكان زكاري علام، البالغ من العمر 34 عاماً، قد أدين في الخريف الماضي بتهمة الاقتحام والدخول إلى مسكن مأهول والسرقة الكبرى.

دخل علام إلى المسكن عبر باب خلفي في 8 مايو 2025 حوالي الساعة 11 ليلاً. وقضى ما بين 10 إلى 15 دقيقة داخل المنزل باحثاً في الغرف ومستولياً على أغراض شخصية قبل أن تواجهه العائلة. قدم علام أعذاراً لوجوده ثم غادر، وبعد ذلك قامت الشرطة بتعقبه واعتقاله في مكان قريب.
