يواصل نادي الصحافة في مدرسة كايري الثانوية للبنين في جاتوندو الشمالية بمقاطعة كيامبو، تطوير مهارات الطلاب في مجالي اللغة والاتصال.

يجتمع الأعضاء بعد انتهاء الحصص الدراسية لمناقشة استراتيجيات تطوير النادي. ويشارك الطلاب في أنشطة تتعلق بالتدريس والترجمة والتصوير والتحرير. يخطط النادي لتأسيس وحدة للدراما وإطلاق مجلة مدرسية رسمية في العام المقبل. وقد أظهر الطلاب المشاركون نجاحاً في امتحانات اللغتين السواحيلية والإنجليزية، إلى جانب اكتساب ثقة أكبر بالنفس. صرحت راعية النادي السيدة دورين كاتوريما بأن النادي يساهم في تحسين نتائج شهادة التعليم الثانوي الكينية (KCSE) والتقدم في فن الخطابة والإذاعة. وأكد المدير السيد أنتوني مواريا أن النادي يهيئ الطلاب لمهن الصحافة.
