أعلن وزير الخزانة جون مبادي أن هيئة الإيرادات الكينية ستبدأ في مراقبة المعاملات التجارية لحظياً اعتباراً من 1 يوليو 2026، وذلك بهدف تحسين تحصيل الإيرادات وتعزيز الامتثال الضريبي.

أدلى مبادي بهذه التصريحات يوم الخميس أثناء عرض ميزانية العام المالي 2026/2027 أمام البرلمان. وأوضح أن هيئة الإيرادات الكينية ستكثف إصلاحاتها من خلال التكنولوجيا، بما في ذلك توسيع نطاق الفوترة الإلكترونية، وتعزيز تكامل نقاط البيع، وإطلاق تطبيق إلكتروني للجمارك. وقال مبادي: "في العام المالي 2026/2027، ستكثف هيئة الإيرادات الكينية إصلاحاتها لتعزيز تعبئة الإيرادات وتحسين تجربة دافعي الضرائب من خلال طرح أنظمة رقمية متكاملة لإدارة الضرائب ومراقبة الإيرادات". وأشار وزير الخزانة إلى أن نظام إدارة الفواتير الضريبية الإلكترونية قد ضم بالفعل أكثر من 655,000 دافع ضرائب. وأضاف أن قاعدة دافعي الضرائب النشطين ارتفعت بمقدار 82,000 لتصل إلى أكثر من 6.6 مليون بحلول مارس 2026، وذلك بفضل الاعتماد على الذكاء الاصطناعي وتقنيات فحص الشحنات.
