ستطرح الهيئة الوطنية للنقل والسلامة نظاماً إلكترونياً لسجلات ملكية المركبات في العاشر من يونيو ليحل محل السجلات الورقية في كينيا.

أعلنت الهيئة الوطنية للنقل والسلامة (NTSA) أنها ستستبدل السجلات الورقية التقليدية للمركبات بنظام سجلات إلكتروني رقمي جديد. وستدخل هذه التغييرات حيز التنفيذ في العاشر من يونيو، حيث سيتم دمج النظام بالكامل مع منصة الحكومة الإلكترونية (eCitizen).

جاء هذا الإعلان على لسان المدير العام للهيئة، ناشون كونديوا، خلال مؤتمر صحفي عقد في المؤتمر السنوي الثالث لهيئات ووكالات التنظيم في جامعة جنوب شرق كينيا. وأوضح كونديوا أن النظام الجديد سيتيح لمالكي المركبات الوصول إلى سجلاتهم إلكترونياً مع تقليل الإجراءات البيروقراطية.

وأضاف كونديوا أن هذه الخطوة ستلغي مخاطر استخدام السجلات الورقية القديمة وتحد من عمليات الاحتيال أثناء بيع المركبات الخاصة. وستتضمن السجلات الجديدة تقنيات التشفير، والتجزئة الآمنة، ورموز الاستجابة السريعة (QR) لتسهيل التحقق الفوري من قبل المشترين والبنوك وشركات التأمين.

وسيتمكن البائعون والمشترون من البدء في إجراءات نقل الملكية عبر الإنترنت دون الحاجة لزيارة مكاتب الهيئة. وتجري الاستعدادات حالياً في مراحلها النهائية مع تفعيل أنظمة الدعم اللازمة لضمان انتقال سلس للخدمة الجديدة.
