حذرت محكمة استئناف أمريكية من أن محامين قد يواجهون عقوبات بعد تقديمهم طعناً مليئاً باقتباسات وهمية تم إنشاؤها بواسطة الذكاء الاصطناعي. وتتعلق القضية بمحاولة إجبار شركة ميتا على إزالة منشور انتقادي من مجموعة لسلامة المواعدة على فيسبوك.

استأنف نيكو دامبروسيو حكماً صادراً عن محكمة محلية قضى برفض دعواه القضائية ضد أكثر من عشرين امرأة وشركة ميتا. وكان قد اتهم النساء بالتشهير بسبب منشورات في مجموعة "هل نواعد نفس الرجل" (Are We Dating the Same Guy) على فيسبوك في شيكاغو، وزعم أن ميتا روجت للمحتوى من أجل الربح. وقد رفضت محكمة الاستئناف الأمريكية للدائرة السابعة الطعن باعتباره كيدياً، وسلطت الضوء على الأخطاء والاقتباسات الوهمية التي أظهرت علامات على سوء استخدام الذكاء الاصطناعي التوليدي.

Japanese government to study legality of AI voice cloning

The Japanese government announced on Friday it will establish a council of experts to discuss whether unauthorized use of sound data in AI-generated content emulating voice actors violates the Civil Code, amid advances in generative AI. The Justice Ministry panel will also address use of actors' images and present guidelines by July, as no legal precedent exists.
