Rigsrevisionen kritiserer transportministeriet for manglende målopfyldelse

Rigsrevisionen anklager transportministeriet under Patrick Schnieder for ikke engang tilnærmelsesvis at nå målene for trafikomlægningen. Ministeriet har ikke justeret sine masterplaner.

Rigsrevisionen har rettet en skarp kritik mod det føderale transportministerium i en rapport med titlen “Det lykkes ikke for BMV at flytte trafik til jernbane og vandveje”. Ministeriet under ledelse af Patrick Schnieder (CDU) vil hverken på mellemlangt eller langt sigt nå sine egne mål.

Ifølge masterplanerne skal jernbanen tegne sig for en fjerdedel af godstransporten inden 2030, mens tolv procent skal flyttes til vandveje. Persontransporten på jernbanen skal fordobles inden da.

Ministeriet bekræftede, at det er usandsynligt, at målene nås, og pegede på faktorer som den økonomiske udvikling. Rigsrevisionen afviste dette argument og bemærkede, at sådanne faktorer allerede er indregnet i prognoserne. De efterlyste et kursskifte for stadig at kunne nå målværdierne.
