Vizepräsident Geraldo Alckmin erklärte, er verteile Unterlagen mit Einzelheiten zum Kreditprogramm für die Erneuerung der Flotten von Taxi- und App-Fahrern. Er machte diese Aussage am Mittwoch während einer nationalen Vorstandssitzung der PSB.

Alckmin hob das von Präsident Lula ins Leben gerufene Programm im Wert von 30 Milliarden R$ hervor, das dem Sektor niedrigere Zinssätze bieten soll. Seinen Angaben zufolge hat die Initiative die von Banken berechneten Zinssätze bereits um bis zu 50 % gesenkt.

Der Vizepräsident forderte die Anwesenden bei dem Treffen auf, die Maßnahme in den Bundesstaaten bekannt zu machen. Er selbst wirbt ebenfalls über soziale Medien und bei Besuchen in Autohäusern für das Programm.

Lula plant, eine ähnliche Version für Motorradtaxi-Fahrer einzuführen. Das Modell steht bereits, doch die Regierung diskutiert noch über das Format und das Datum der Ankündigung.
