CBI ermittelt wegen Auftragsmord im Fall Chandranath Rath im Wert von 1 Crore Rupien

Das CBI untersucht den Mord an Chandranath Rath, einem Mitarbeiter von Suvendu, als möglichen Auftragsmord. Die Ermittler konzentrieren sich dabei auf zwischenstaatliche Verbindungen, die Verwendung gefälschter Fahrzeuge sowie die Herkunft der Gelder in Höhe von über 1 Crore Rupien. Die Untersuchung umfasst einen erneuten Besuch des Tatorts im Distrikt North 24 Parganas, Westbengalen. Beamte versuchen, die Täter aufzuspüren, die möglicherweise Landesgrenzen überschritten haben, um den Anschlag auszuführen. Bislang wurden in dem Fall weder Festnahmen noch abschließende Ergebnisse bekannt gegeben.

Chandranath Rath, personal assistant to BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, was shot dead by motorcycle-borne assailants on Wednesday night in Madhyamgram, North 24 Parganas.
