Botschafter und Diplomaten aus verschiedenen Ländern besuchten Sonderwirtschaftszonen in Äthiopien, um Investitionsmöglichkeiten und industrielle Entwicklungen zu prüfen.

Addis Abeba, 11. Mai 2018 (FMC). Botschafter und Diplomaten aus verschiedenen Ländern besuchen derzeit Sonderwirtschaftszonen in ganz Äthiopien, um industrielle Entwicklungen, Fabrikabläufe und die erzielten Erfolge in diesem Sektor zu begutachten.

Die Tour umfasste Besuche der Bole Lemi Special Economic Zone, der Kilinto Special Industrial Zone, der Eastern Industrial Zone sowie des Joy Tech and ICT Park. Die Teilnehmer diskutierten über die Beiträge der Zonen zu industriellem Wachstum, zur Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen und zur Erzielung von Deviseneinnahmen.

Die äthiopische Investitionskommission und das Außenministerium haben den Besuch gemeinsam organisiert. Er unterstreicht die laufenden Bemühungen, ausländische Direktinvestitionen anzuziehen und ein modernes Investitionsökosystem aufzubauen.
