Marcus Ericsson finished sixth in the race following a restart with 32 laps remaining. He advanced to third place but could not hold off the fast Penske cars.
Álex Palou won the race and thereby extended his lead in the championship.
Ericsson, who is from Kumla, moved up from fifth to third place during the restart before the finish.
He lost positions to the stronger Penske cars toward the end.
