Oromia fördert spielbasiertes Lernen für Kinder

Bildungsbehörden in Oromia gaben bekannt, dass sie kontinuierlich an der Stärkung des spielbasierten Lernens für Kinder arbeiten. Dies wurde anlässlich des Weltspieltags hervorgehoben.

Die Veranstaltung fand am 17. Juni 2018 in Addis Abeba statt und umfasste Vertreter des Bildungsministeriums sowie regionaler Behörden. Ato Shemsedin Ibrahim, Direktor für Schulen des ersten Zyklus beim Bildungsbüro der Region Oromia, erklärte, dass Anstrengungen unternommen werden, um eine qualitativ hochwertige frühkindliche Bildung überall zugänglich zu machen. Mulgeta Gabisa, Projektmanager von Right To Play für Bishoftu Lume, erläuterte, dass das fünfjährige Projekt in der Stadt Bishoftu und im Bezirk Lume umgesetzt wird. Mehr als 75.000 Bücher wurden bereitgestellt, um die Lesekompetenz der Klassen eins bis vier zu fördern.
