Präsident Ruto vergibt Stipendien in Höhe von 5 Millionen Kenia-Schilling an 250 Schüler in Kwale

Während seiner Reise an die Küste hat Präsident William Ruto Stipendien in Höhe von 5 Millionen Kenia-Schilling für 250 Schüler einer technischen Hochschule im Kwale County angekündigt.

Präsident William Ruto machte die Ankündigung am 23. Mai während einer Rede in Lunga Lunga im Kwale County. Er erklärte, dass er Schüler sponsern werde, die für sechsmonatige Kurse an der örtlichen technischen und berufsbildenden Hochschule eingeschrieben sind.

„Ich möchte die jungen Menschen hier unterstützen. Die Schüler der sechsmonatigen Kurse“, erklärte Präsident Ruto. Er fügte hinzu, dass mehr als 250 Schüler an der Einrichtung studieren würden, wobei er die Kosten übernehme.

Der Präsident wies zudem den Parlamentsabgeordneten von Lunga Lunga, Mangale Chiforomodo Munga, an, die Mittel durch Ressourcen zur Entwicklung des Wahlkreises aufzustocken. Am selben Tag weihte er das Matuga Technical and Vocational College ein und eröffnete ein digitales Zentrum am Kinango TVC.
