The zone's work and skills directorate gave 61,400 birr plus clothes and other items valued at 30,000 birr. Zone chief administrator Dr. Demssu Adamasu thanked the command's members and leaders for their aid aimed at stabilizing victims and recognizing their plight. With aid flowing generously from all quarters, a call went out for additional support from the IOM to aid recovery.
