BRIS: Los niños son más vulnerables durante las vacaciones de verano

BRIS advierte que la vulnerabilidad de los niños aumenta durante las diez semanas de vacaciones de verano. La organización insta a los adultos a prestar especial atención y a atreverse a preguntar.

La mayoría de los niños y jóvenes disfrutan actualmente de unas largas vacaciones de verano. Algo agradable para muchos, pero también una época en la que aumentan las llamadas a BRIS.

BRIS subraya que los adultos tienen una gran responsabilidad. Si se sospecha que un niño del entorno sufre una enfermedad mental o está sometido a conflictos familiares, como la violencia doméstica, es importante mostrar interés, tener paciencia y actuar.

– Lo más importante es estar presente en la vida de los niños y, sobre todo, atreverse a preguntar, afirma Jennifer Pettersson, consejera de BRIS.

– Es mejor preguntar una vez de más que una vez de menos, añade.
