Un informe de la SiS insta a reducir el aislamiento de menores

La autoridad sueca SiS afirma en un nuevo informe que muchos de los aislamientos e intervenciones físicas contra menores podrían haberse evitado. Entre 2023 y 2025 se llevaron a cabo más de 2800 aislamientos.

El informe muestra que casi una de cada tres medidas podría haberse prevenido. Las niñas se vieron especialmente afectadas, representando el 63 por ciento de las decisiones de aislamiento a pesar de ser menos numerosas que los niños.

Una joven que se hace llamar Emma describe su paso por un centro de la SiS a los 17 años. Experimentó mucha violencia y se sintió completamente desamparada.

– Me sentía desesperada, impotente y sola, dice.

La directora de atención juvenil, Birgitta Dahlberg, afirma que la SiS está trabajando para individualizar más la atención, especialmente para las niñas, quienes son aisladas con frecuencia.
