Chile convoca reunión regional contra el crimen organizado

El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores de Chile convocó a una reunión de alto nivel el 28 de mayo en Santiago para coordinar acciones contra el crimen organizado transnacional.

El encuentro reunirá a ministros de Relaciones Exteriores y de Seguridad de Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, Perú y Chile. El objetivo es acordar medidas concretas en coordinación fronteriza, intercambio de información y combate al narcotráfico.

El canciller Francisco Pérez Mackenna dijo que el crimen organizado es un flagelo que afecta a Latinoamérica. “Esta reunión es un primer paso para fortalecer nuestras fronteras y para darle pelea unidos al delito en la región”, sostuvo.

Pérez Mackenna agregó que se espera un plan conjunto con tareas concretas. Participarán por Argentina Pablo Quirno y Alejandra Monteoliva, por Bolivia Fernando Aramayo Carrasco, por Ecuador Gabriela Sommerfeld Rosero y Andrés Ribadeneira Brown, por Perú Carlos Pareja y José Zapata Morante, y por Chile el propio Pérez Mackenna junto a Martín Arrau.
