Hong Kong cederá tres terrenos para el proyecto de transporte en Kowloon Oriental

El gobierno de Hong Kong ha aprobado la entrega de tres terrenos al futuro operador de un sistema de transporte ecológico planificado en Kowloon Oriental para mejorar su viabilidad financiera. El proyecto, que conectará Choi Hung y Yau Tong, tiene previsto inaugurarse en 2033.

El gobierno anunció el viernes que este acuerdo garantizará que se aproveche al máximo la experiencia y la capacidad financiera del sector privado. El adjudicatario será responsable de la financiación, el diseño, la construcción, la operación y el mantenimiento.

Dado que los ingresos proyectados una vez deducidos los gastos no alcanzarían el rendimiento esperado del capital, el gobierno concederá derechos de desarrollo inmobiliario sobre tres terrenos principalmente residenciales. El operador pagará una prima simbólica.

La licitación para la línea de 7 km se lanzará el próximo mes. Acuerdos similares se utilizaron para el sistema de transporte de Kai Tak.
