Salvador Illa y Oriol Junqueras rubricarán hoy un acuerdo que permite aprobar los primeros presupuestos catalanes de la legislatura. El pacto incluye cesiones en soberanía y el impulso a la línea ferroviaria orbital.

El presidente catalán Salvador Illa y el líder de ERC Oriol Junqueras cerraron el lunes un pacto que desbloquea los presupuestos de la Generalitat. Tras el aval del Consejo Nacional de Esquerra, el acuerdo se firmará hoy y se presentará tras la reunión bilateral del miércoles en Madrid.

El texto otorga a la Generalitat la gestión plena del litoral catalán, mayor control sobre el Consorcio de la Zona Franca de Barcelona y un nuevo consorcio para supervisar inversiones estatales. La cogestión del aeropuerto de El Prat queda aplazada, aunque AENA mantiene el mando operativo.

Además, se impulsa el tren orbital, una línea de 120 kilómetros que unirá comarcas metropolitanas sin pasar por Barcelona. La primera fase entre Granollers y Terrassa cuenta con financiación garantizada y prevé su puesta en servicio en 2034.

Illa agradeció a ERC su “sentido de país” y destacó la apuesta por la movilidad sostenible. Los presupuestos deben aprobarse en el Parlament antes del 31 de julio.
