Hospital de Roldanillo suspende servicios por deuda de Nueva EPS

El Hospital Departamental San Antonio de Roldanillo anunció la suspensión de varios servicios de salud debido a una deuda superior a 10 mil millones de pesos de Nueva EPS. La medida afecta a al menos 60 mil afiliados en el norte del Valle del Cauca.

El centro asistencial explicó que la falta de pago ha impedido cumplir con obligaciones como el pago a proveedores y la compra de medicamentos. A partir de ahora solo se atenderán urgencias vitales mientras que servicios de segundo nivel como ginecología, cirugía general, pediatría, traumatología, medicina interna y medicina familiar quedan suspendidos.

Mauricio Saldarriaga, gerente del hospital, señaló que sin recursos o una garantía de pago se iniciará la restricción de consultas externas y entrega de medicamentos. El caso será presentado ante la Superintendencia Nacional de Salud para buscar una solución.

La decisión impacta también a residentes de municipios cercanos como La Unión, Bolívar, Zarzal, La Victoria, Versalles y El Dovio que suelen atenderse en la institución.
