El SAWS advierte sobre clima frío, húmedo y ventoso en el Cabo Occidental

El Servicio Meteorológico de Sudáfrica (SAWS) ha emitido una alerta amarilla de nivel 2 por vientos dañinos en el Cabo Septentrional y el Cabo Occidental, válida a partir del 26 de abril de 2026. Se espera que el clima adverso persista hasta el lunes.

El meteorólogo Langutelani Mathebula indicó que se prevé una acumulación de precipitaciones de entre 20 y 40 milímetros en las zonas suroeste del Cabo Occidental. Se pronostican fuertes vientos tierra adentro de 40 a 50 km/h, con ráfagas de 70 a 90 km/h, en las partes sur de la región de Namakwa y el Karoo Central para el domingo.
